After dominating the Bulgarian Circuit championship in 2009, Rumen Dunev has one again stamped his authority over all other teams and drivers in 2010, to power through the race season with 7 race wins out of 8 rounds!

Biography of Rumen Dunev...
Rumen Dunev was born 11.01.1974. in Sofia into afamily of car racers. Rumen’s first taste of racing started 18 years as navigator of his father Boncho Dunev.

During the period of 1999 – 2001, Rumen seeked development and improvement in Germany, specialising in track racing. He started in the German championship "Ford Puma CUP" in the extremely competitive with around 50 competitors with exactly the same cars. Achieving a top 10 finish, it marked invaluable experience in driving on a race circuit.
Meanwhile, in 2001, Rumen graduated Technical University in Sofia, Automotive Engineering, with honors, and in 2002 gave birth to his firstborn son Ekriko by his wife Catherine, now Mrs. Bulgaria who achieved 3rd place in the Miss world contest! Rumen same year opened a modern car service in Sofia, specializing in electronics and diagnostics of atomobiles and even today enjoys numerous clients.
Rumen Dunev was the first Bulgarian pilot, whose team was supported behind factory cars, namely Renault in France in 2007 and 2008. The car was manned by French engineers and specialists, and Dunev managed to win the championship and the rally and on track for 2007 and 2008 with Renault Clio Super 1600, Copiloted with Nicolas Trean.
In 2009, Dunev competed with the Mitsubishi Lancer EVO 9 in the largest class 2000kub.cm. He was awarded his consecutive league title in the large class in 2009 and leaves behind his famous rivals with long experience in this class. The team that sits behind him is the Prista Oil Rally Team
In 2010, Dunev, once again makes his competitors witness his class and skills to be the fastest, winning victories in 7 of 8 races this year. He gives great thanks to his father, and multiple champion of Bulgaria, the car ace of blizkato, Boncho Dunev, who is still on track, helping the younger brother of Rumen-Tom, who is about to become European Drift Champion.
